Our work can focus on the past and/or the here and now. You may wish to work on current difficulties with your mental health, or you may like to identify and work though the origin of these.

Before commencing therapy, it is important that we complete a psychological assessment to understand your current difficulties and to create a personalised treatment plan. This may involve psychological therapy, signposting to various resources and/or onward referrals to other services

Fees:

Assessment (up to 75 minutes): £90

Therapy session (up to 30 minutes) - £40

Therapy sessions (up to 60 minutes) - £80

Therapy sessions (up to 90 minutes) - £120

The session fees include a range of different additional tasks to complement and enhance our work, such as additional resources being collated and sent to you after the session.

Sessions can take place via telephone or secure video call

I offer a few reduced cost slots to enable those experiencing financial constraints to access specialist therapies. â€‹

Weekly, fortnightly and monthly sessions are available to suit a range of budgets and other commitments. Daytime and evening appointments are available.

I offer an optional, free, 10-minute telephone consultation before booking an assessment. This is to ensure that we are a good fit for working together.

Insurances and Intermediaries

I am an approved provider for a variety of health insurance companies and intermediaries, including Aviva, AXA, Vitality Health, Cigna, PLE Health, Vita Health Group, Problem Shared, Think CBT and HelloSelf. This list continues to grow; therefore, please contact me if you do not see your insurance company listed.

If you are seeking therapy under an insurance plan, please ensure that you have authorisation before booking any appointments.

The price charged to insurance companies varies due to the additional administration tasks they require.

Clients – Consultations and Support

Sometimes, people may be unable to commit to on-going therapy or may wish to attend shorter-term support to develop an understanding of their difficulties. Alternatively, someone you care about may have mental health difficulties and you would like to learn more about how you can support them.

If this is something you would like to discuss, please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

Considerations

I work with adults from age 18 years and above.

As an independent practitioner, I am unfortunately unable to work with clients who have very high levels of active risk. In these instances, I would recommend NHS or private services that offer a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) approach.

I may not be able to work with you if you are currently under another mental health service (NHS or private). This is to ensure the best possible care for you, as it is advised not to have two courses of therapy at the same time. We can discuss this during a free consultation or via email if you would like to explore your current circumstances.

Unfortunately, I do not provide a crisis service, and I am therefore unable to provide support outside of our sessions. Please see my resources page for other organisations who can support you during a crisis.

Psychologists and Psychotherapists offer individuals psychological formulation and therapy-based services. Should you wish to discuss medication, your GP or a Consultant Psychiatrist will be able to support you with this.
